UK GDPR, PECR cookie rules, Irish ePrivacy rules and data protection: legal requirements change all the time. I keep an eye on the technical obligations for you and make any necessary changes on your website.

What happens if the website goes down?
Automatic monitoring raises the alarm immediately: I react straight away, restore the latest backup if needed and fix the cause of the error. You receive a short report on the fix.
Does the website have to be built by Fachweb?
No. I also take on existing websites for ongoing care, no matter who originally built them. Before starting, I carry out a security check and bring all components up to date.
What is included in maintenance?
Monthly care includes daily backups, all security updates for WordPress, PHP and plugins, plus 24/7 uptime monitoring and technical upkeep of cookie banners and legal texts.
Do you take legal liability for data protection?
No. I am not a lawyer and do not provide legal advice. My job is flawless technical implementation: integrating cookie banners and maintaining the legal notice and privacy policies through established integrations. A specialist lawyer remains responsible for checking the content.
Can the maintenance contract be cancelled flexibly?
Yes. Care can be cancelled at any time with 30 days’ notice to the end of the month. On request, you receive a complete backup of your website to use as you wish.
What are the monthly costs for ongoing care?
Transparent monthly packages: care starts from just £25 (€30) a month for basic updates and backups. After a free preliminary check, you receive a tailored fixed-price quote.
